Solution Description: Our company, LawToolBox, works to solve the needs that small to mid-size law firms have to calculate, track and manage thousands of litigation deadlines across hundreds of cases. LawToolBox is a web-based application oriented platform that automates the litigation cycle by calculating multiple deadlines from a single event or case milestone, synchronizing litigation deadlines to the business-users Outlook calendar, and generating a first draft of the pleading due which is delivered either as an attachment to an email deadline reminder or as a download from the extranet.
Our customers benefit from more accurate and comprehensive identification of litigation deadlines, reduction in non-billable time spent reinventing the wheel, improved access to case information, and reduction in the incidence of professional errors. For example, with LawToolBox an attorney can input a trial date and automatically calculate 25 pre-trial deadlines that run off of that date. Using our Add-in for Outlook, these deadlines automatically flow into the user’s calendar or task list. And if a case is shared to 4 users, LawToolBox automates the synchronization of these deadlines into every user’s Outlook (which is 100 opportunities for human error that are avoided if the deadlines had been entered by hand).
